Mesa de Brasa sets up a wood and charcoal grill at the event itself and cooks in full view of guests throughout the service. There is no hidden kitchen or trays appearing out of nowhere: the fire, smoke, and the knife work are all part of the celebration. The menu is finalized with the client choosing from five seasonal proposals. We work with Mexican products from direct suppliers: beef from Sonora, vegetables from Xochimilco, nixtamalized corn tortillas made fresh on the comal. The service includes five courses served by hand, unlimited fresh tortillas, and three house salsas. The team consists of four uniformed staff members who serve in Spanish and English. The service works equally well in gardens, terraces, or interior patios with proper ventilation, becoming the gathering point where guests meet standing with their plate in hand.
