What people almost always ask us

How much does it cost to apply to the casting?

Applying is free. Verifying your profile and the platform's Free plan are free too. You only pay if at some point you decide to activate the Premium plan for advanced features.

When does the platform open to organizers?

On September 1, 2026. That day the verified talent catalog goes live for the organizers already on the list. Join before then: complete, verified profiles will appear in the first wave.

Can I work at events outside my country?

Of course. O-KIVA is international: if you have real availability to travel and perform outside your country, we make it clear on your profile so organizers know you are coming from abroad and can plan ahead.

How do you decide who gets in?

Verification is automatic in most cases: we check identity, track record and location on a secure server. Only in exceptional cases —or if there's an issue with the documentation— does it go to manual review, which you can also request yourself.

What happens if I am not selected?

We let you know by email, with honesty about why. If you feel something is missing and you work on it, you can apply again in the next casting wave.

Does O-KIVA charge to publish my profile?

No. The Free plan lets you keep your profile and one published show, with no limit. The Premium plan ($29.95 USD/month) unlocks advanced features: unlimited shows, unrestricted AI tools, a no-delay opportunities board, better search ranking, and more.

What commission does O-KIVA charge if I get booked?

20% of the booking. If you come through an agency that is already part of O-KIVA, that 20% is split: 10% for O-KIVA, 10% for the agency, and you keep 80% of your fee. Fully transparent from the very first minute.

How do payments work? Is it safe?

When an organizer books you through O-KIVA, the full amount is held by the platform before the event. Once everything is confirmed to have gone well (or 48 hours pass after the event with no incident reports), the payment is released to you. It is our escrow system, designed specifically for events. For you it means one thing: you get paid on time, with no surprises.

When do real opportunities start arriving?

As soon as you pass verification you have full access to your dashboard <strong>and to your own page to share</strong>: from that moment you can already receive contacts and close events through your link, without waiting. On top of that, on September 1, 2026 you will appear in the public catalog for the organizers already on the list.
