At O-KIVA we respect your privacy and protect your personal data. This Privacy Notice explains what data we collect, for what purposes we process it and how you can exercise your rights, in accordance with the applicable Mexican legislation on personal data protection.

1. Data controller

The controller of your personal data is O-KIVA, through the platform o-kiva.com. For any matter related to your data you can contact us at hello@o-kiva.com or through our contact form.

2. Data we collect

Depending on your role and how you use the Platform, we may collect:

Registration data: name, email address and phone number.
Identity verification data: a valid identity document.
Payment data: the information necessary to process payments, managed through a secure payment provider. We do not store your full card details.
Profile content: photographs, videos, descriptions and other materials you choose to publish.
Usage data: basic technical information (such as IP address and access logs) to operate and protect the Platform.

3. Purposes of processing

We process your data to: create and manage your account; verify your identity; connect talent with organizers and agencies; manage quotes, bookings and payments; provide you with support; and maintain the security of the Platform.

4. Automated identity verification

Talent identity verification is carried out through an automated system. This system processes documents solely to confirm the person's identity. Once verification is complete, we do not keep copies of the identity documents used for that purpose; only the result of the verification (verified or not) is kept, associated with your account.

5. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as you maintain an active account and for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes described and the applicable legal obligations. As stated above, identity documentation is not retained after verification.

6. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal data. We may rely on providers that help us operate the Platform (for example, technological infrastructure or payment processing), which process the data only according to our instructions and under confidentiality obligations. We will only share data when necessary to provide the service or when required by a competent authority in accordance with the law.

7. Your rights (ARCO)

You have the right to Access your data, Rectify it when inaccurate, Cancel it when you consider it is no longer required and Object to its processing, as well as to revoke your consent. To exercise any of these rights, write to us at hello@o-kiva.com or use our contact form, stating your request. We will respond within the timeframes established by law.

8. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss or alteration. No system is completely infallible, but we work to maintain an adequate level of protection.
